Woman Kidnapped, Drugged And Molested In Guwahati

GUWAHATI: A gruesome episode took place in Guwahati city where a girl got treated in the most inhumane manner. The incident occurred on Thursday night, Kamrup district. 

A young girl has been allegedly kidnapped and gang raped by few unidentified men. As per the sources, the victim as initially abducted from Goreswar in Kamrup district by the miscreants. 

Later, the culprits threw her out at Indira nagar in Basistha area of Guwahati. The girl was then spotted by the local people around who later informed the concerned authorities. 

Local police rushed to the spot and rescued the girl. Sources informed that, the girl was drugged by the culprits before molesting her. However, no individual has been arrested until now. 

Police have begun the investigation regarding the matter and the girl is currently admitted in a hospital for medical treatment. Just a week prior to this incident, a heinous incident has been registered in the capital city of Assam where three accused allegedly raped and filmed a minor girl. 

Guwahati police on 19th of January, Thursday, arrested two men regarding the case while one remain absconding. The episode took place in Guwahati's Barsapara locality. 

As per the officials, the criminals sexually harassed the minor girl and filmed the entire scene. The two arrested accused has been identified as Biki Ali and Babar Ali. The prime accused identified as Biki Saha, is on a run. 

The concerned department has initiated a search to nab the culprit. A case has also been filed against the three men in Guwahati's All Women Police Station in Panbazar. An investigation regarding the matter was launched by the cops after receiving the reports of medical examination of the minor girl, stated the police. 

While the entire state was engaged in Bihu celebration, the episode took place on 14th of January, on the day of Uruka. According to the reports, the little girl was raped by the youths. Further they filmed the entire scene on their mobile and threatened the girl to maintain silence. 

The accused threatened her of releasing the video in public if she fails to do so. However, the victim confessed the episode to her family, following which a case was registered in the Panbazar police station.
